The 3×3×3 Progress Path

A step-by-step roadmap to break through the Intermediate Plateau and finally feel your progress in Japanese conversation.

Do any of these sound familiar?

・You’ve been studying Japanese for years

but your conversation still feels stuck.

・You’ve memorized hundreds of words,
yet they don’t come out naturally when speaking.

・You talk with Japanese friends,
but the conversation never feels smoother.

・You learn new grammar,
but still make the same mistakes in daily conversation.

・You feel like no matter how much you study,
your speaking level doesn’t change.

The Truth is...

Even if you’re learning advanced points — like N2-level grammar — if you can’t use basic Japanese correctly in conversation, you’re still at Level 1 in speaking skills. This is exactly why the Intermediate Plateau can feel even more frustrating.

The 3×3×3 Progress Path

To break through the plateau, you need a clear structure that shows exactly where you are now and what to work on next.

In total, that’s 27 tangible skills that build on each other, giving you visible progress and confidence every step of the way.

I didn’t include every single grammar point — only the ones my clients actually struggle with, and the ones they consistently make mistakes on. That way, every step you take is targeted, meaningful, and moves you forward.

Why 3×3×3 Progress Path is Different

Instead of giving you a random list of tips,
this PDF gives you a map — one that’s:

✅Clear – You know exactly where you are and what’s next.

✅Focused – You work only on what matters for your current stage.

✅Motivating – You can track and celebrate your progress step-by-step.

I’ve been teaching Japanese conversation for over 5 years and have worked with more than 100 learners from all over the world.

Again and again, I saw students hit the same wall: the Intermediate Plateau.

They were studying hard, learning advanced grammar, and memorizing vocabulary — but in conversation, they still couldn’t use even the basics naturally and confidently.

That’s why I created the 3×3×3 Progress Path — a completely original framework based on my own teaching experience and observation.

I didn’t include every single grammar point.

Instead, I focused only on the ones that most learners struggle with or repeatedly make mistakes on.

You might also notice that some upper-level grammar points appear in lower stages, and some beginner-level items appear near the top.

This is intentional — it reflects what I’ve found will make you sound more fluent, faster.

This pathway is the exact step-by-step system I use with my own clients, designed to make sure every step you take moves you closer to speaking Japanese naturally and confidently.
